Gran Turismo World Series Rd.3 Tokyo

Following six online qualifying rounds played out on Gran Turismo™ 7 on PlayStation®4 system or PlayStation®5 console, the best 12 Nations Cup drivers and top 12 Manufacturers Cup racers from the Asia-Oceania region will compete live at the third round of the 'Gran Turismo World Series' in Tokyo on Saturday, 28th of September.

 

The ‘Gran Turismo World Series’ returns to Tokyo for the first time since 2019 on Saturday 28 September, 2024 as the hotly-contested series approaches its December World Finals.

The season began in North America, with Round 1 taking place in Montreal, Canada on 6 July. The experienced Igor Fraga from Brazil took the honours in the Manufacturers Cup for Team Lexus before another series stalwart, Takuma Miyazono of Japan, secured an impressive win, and series lead, in the Nations Cup.

 

Round 2 of the series takes place in Europe. The stunning Czech capital, Prague, will host the 12 Manufacturers Cup team members and 12 Nations Cup drivers for more close racing on Saturday, 10 August.

 

Tokyo’s Asia-Oceania Round 3 will take place at the state-of-the-art THEATER MILANO-Za in the Kabukicho Tower in Shinjuku. With Tokyo the final round before December’s World Finals, the drivers will be aiming to take maximum series points from the event and the competition will be fierce.
